The first streaks of sunlight herald the dawn, The arena stands empty now; quiet; forlorn, The stage is dismantled, the props packed away, The band we called Westlife have called it a day.
No more will we gather to hear the boys sing, Or bask in the glow of the joy that they bring, No tickets, no tours; it's time to move on. We're left with our memories; Westlife are gone.
How do you say goodbye to a friend? Why does something so good have to end? A part of our lives for the last fourteen years, So we scream and we wave, and we sing through our tears.
They started as boys and they finished as men. We'll never see anything like them again, But we can't turn the page or hold back the tide, So we smile through our sadness, and watch them with pride.
Here in the arena the echoes remain, Of the music, the laughter, the joy and the pain, And as they look back as they all walk away, Unbreakable Westlife, please come back one day.
