WOW I've not been on here in some time ..........

19/10/11 - My heart shattered, as im sure like many other WL fans out there. When the lads announced to go their separate ways. I have the upmost respect, admiration, love and support for Nicky, Shane, Kian and Mark! As hard as it is for us fans, for the lads it must be soooooo much harder. Like they said WL is all they have ever known....so after June their new adventures begin!!! and how exciting for them .......

I just wanted to come on and show my support for the lads!!! NO MATTER WHAT i will always support the lads, in whatever they each decide to do. They have gievn me the best 14 years of my life, I owe like my life to them! .... they have saved me from so many dark times!! and as kian said "Happy Ending" and that we shall do....I'm going to see the lads at Brum (which is going to be a very special night for me, infact my life will be completed all thanks to my mum) and i shal lbe there the last night at Croke Park Dublin.... (god thats gonna be hard) wuldnt miss it for the world ... im thinking of taking super glue with me haha!!! "i shall not be mooovveeed"

well THANKYOUUUUU NICKY, SHANE, KIAN AND MARK from the bottom of my heart and from many other fans!!! You will never leave me!!!!! always my no1's ..... oh and of course my man Nicky......will forever be #TeamByrne ... my Hero!!!!

I just want to thank the lads for everything, all the songs, all the shows, the music videos, the tv appearances, the interviews, everything. I will miss them so much.

Thank you also to all the friends I have made on this board, most of whom I am still in contact with, some of whom I have regrettably lost touch with. I hope we can stay in contact, which is easier these days thanks to facebook, twitter etc, just a shame those things have caused the demise of forums like these. We had such fun on them, night after night, ;D and I really miss that. From time to time I come on here and go through some past threads, and I laugh and smile, and remember how things were.

But time passes, things change, people grow older and life happens. I understand all of that, but it still makes me a little sad.

Westlife, you always were and always are and always will be amazing. You are not only fabulous entertainers, you are genuinely nice guys, honest, caring, humble, warm and friendly human beings. So many people in this world are shallow, selfish, greedy and lazy, so it has been a pleasure to know all of you and I hope you all continue to post on twitter and facebook so that I can see what you are doing.

I am currently preparing to spend a year in Dubai. Due to this commitment, I didn't buy any tickets for the 2012 tour. There's always the next one, I told myself. then I found out there would not be a next one. I am going to miss the farewell tour, which I am totally gutted about. I am just hoping there will be a dvd of it, so that I can at least experience a fraction of what it is like to be there in person, as I have been many times before.

Many fans are expecting some future reunion, similar to Take That and others. It will be nice if it happens, but somehow this feels final. It's the end. The end of an era. I don't think it will happen, though I would be delighted to be proved wrong.

I am proud to be a fan, and I always will be, even when it's finally over. I have so many good memories, and for that, Westlife, I thank you very much.

Wow what a great thread, duno what made me come on here today, but something told me to ....

I was gutted when the lads announced they were splitting, but to be honest with there kids getting older, i was kind of waiting for it to happen.

I have made such good friends, and some i class as my family now, and nothing is going to change that, all thanks to the lads.

Shane, Nicky, Mark and Kian, thankyou from the bottom of my heart, ive been a fan, right from the start and think i always will be.

These past few years have been amazing, and its all thanks to this forum really, so glad i decided to join all those years ago

The farewell tour is gonna be emotional, and i have so many mixed feelings about it, but im glad i can be part of it, and when i sit in my seat at croke park, im gonna remember all the good times, probs shed a few tears, and then look forwards to the future .......

Im sure i will still visit here sometimes, just to read through the threads and remember all the fun we used to have on here ... and after all these years, im still in Shanes trousers LUCKY MEEEEEE !!! haha

Shane i just have to say, i love you from the bottom of my heart.... thankyou for so many memories, you raise me up to more than i can be
