Angels Wings
god had a little angel
in his heavens up above
he said she needed parents
to shower her with love
he searched the whole world over
till his eyes caught sight of you
he looked back at his angel
and he knew just what to do
he gently tucked her angel wings
out of human sight
and wrapped her up in moonbeams
to help her in her flight
and now that little angel
blessed with heavenly charms
has become the little baby
that you cradle in your arms
and god is watching over her
as day by day she grows
he settles back contented
and smiles because he knows
just how much you love her
and the pleasure that she brings
he knows that when he looks at her
she's hiding angels wings
