Westlife does a magnificent comeback!
Face to Face (pop) +++
A ballad with explodes of sobfeelings.
It has been the boybands magic formula.
And Westlife shows it with their seventh album face to face that it still is a ask for the line: ”I’m shining like a candle in the dark when you tell me that you love me” (duett med Diana Ross).
This week did the irish quartet push down with their single "you raise me up" the rockband Artic Monkey fantastic debutesingle "I bet u look good on the dancefloor” from the english hitlist numberone.
"You raise me up" is a irish nationalromantic hymn with violinshake, cymbals and goes and kicks up the magnificent "titanic feelings".
"Face to face" is a big comeback with its boyband thouch.
From the confusing fiasko with the "ratpack"-covers back to the Harlequin-ballads they do the best.
In the UK has Westlife now had just as many numberones as The Beatles had (13).
So no, Westlife isn't the end this time either.
