Got a pressie for my aunt today, she's celebrating her birthday today, so gonna visit her this afternoon wiv my grandpa for the rest just enjoying the sun. What do you still need to get?

Toothpaste well he's okay, but he's getting dement, he keeps asking the same things, like he asked a few days ago, when are we gonna eat? When it was 9 in the evening, and we already ate round 6..

In real age he's 84, but he's in 'mind' 5 years older, cos he has had a stroke.

Yes, he noticed it already when he was laying in the hospital, he needs help with everything. And sometimes it's hard for ourselfs aswel to accept he has had this, and it's hard aswel, to go out with the family, cos he needs everyday someone to entertain him, we can't leave him alone.

But we made a decission with the family, if he get's at the last stadium of dementie, we're gonna think about a carer home, cos I learnt at school, ppl in that stadium can't even talk anymore

yeah, and in there they can give him everything he need, and they know how to work with him. For you guys it will be very hard to still care for him then!

Yes I know, I still find it hard now aswel, we have pics here with him together with my lil niece, one pic was made a half year ago, when she was a half year, and one is made on her Birthday at the end of February, its hard to face the different, cos he looks so much older now
