Promotion through PM's - spam

There are a few members who contacted us because they received promotional PM's from somebody else who tried to promote an other site/messageboard. We all know that there is a special thread for promotion, and that spamming somebody else's mail box on here with promotional PM's is not a nice way to get attention for your site. The members who reported this to us weren't exactly pleased about this.

So, if you receive, or have received, a PM that handles about promotion, please contact me or the moderator, and we will take action. Even when it doesn't bother you, please report it, so that we have an idea about how often it happens.

We respect your privacy and are here to help you preventing you from receiving advertising and/or junk PM's in your mailbox on here.
